Beginning Boutique Sequins Carrie Jacket Bardot Sportsgirl

Wearing: Carrie Jacket thanks to Beginning Boutique; Agent Ninety-nine Singlet via General Pants Co.; Bardot leggings; Sportsgirl wedges; Equip Accessories stone bracelets, bangles and ring

The "summer" weather here in Sydney has really been unpredictable these days: from 34 degree temperatures to humid storms to strong winds and then back to 34 degrees. I was caught up the other day in strong winds and I was in a floaty dress. I instantly pinned myself to the walls to make sure my undergarments weren't exposed. It was not fun!

So for a solution: I teamed up lightweight leggings, singlet and jacket for a day to night look. I'm not afraid to wear sequins for the day, I personally think its bold and full of personality. Just like Carrie from Sex and The City (which this jacket is named after), which is quite appropriate. I need to take more style notes from Carrie, I do own all the TV series and movies on DVD and several books dedicated to her fashion. Hmmm.

In a beautiful Azuki bodysuit, it loves the Australian Sun!

Bardot leopard skirt (similar here)
New Look fringe vest (similar here)

I've been so busy knee-deep in paperwork these days I can't find my laptop, my stolen time, my photos, my lipstick. I've recently been employed to be a dealer (part-time) so I could fund my clothing habits and blog, but the amount of paperwork and background checking is so much I reckon I can swim in it.
So I'm sorry about my lack of Twitter, Facebook, Blogspot and Instagram - part of the reason is because I've also been resting my hands because I'm now cramping in my fingers because of the chip handling training I have to do. So I'm in my first week of training, and I have had two days left in chip training before I learn games, but I swear it has been quite repetitive. Though I shouldn't complain, I'm being paid to play with chips all day and to take up an awesome challenge.

Today I'm wearing a beautiful "Picket bodysuit" from Azuki designed by the beautiful Morgan Joanel, of whom I met from here.
It's such a great design, I love the cutout in the back, it's got such great detail, and its just so darn comfortable! Morgan is certainly a talented designer.

Hopefully in a few days my fingers will work well enough to keep up my blogging this week :)

Miss Selfridge lace jumper
Diva bangles, Baku leather bracelet

Hi all! Thanks again for the lovely comments! I'm enjoying myself in the sun and just about to head out for dinner with my best friends. As all of us Aussies know, its finally the last weekend of Winter! Spring is just around the corner, yes! So I'm rocking my leopard print mini-skirt, and sexy lace top. Using shades of orange, leopard, and black to set the mood.
So, my thought for the week is:

Every blogger has something to say, so I'll be reading your blog post today.

So I don't have much to say for this post, I'm super super busy visiting everyone's blogs! You guys sure are stylish and are interesting people! And I'm following so many awesome blogs now, must catch up on the latest posts!

Have a fantastic week everyone!

xx Natalie

Zara: One two three, red, yellow, green!

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

What I wore today: Zara stripe shirt (find item here), Topshop cupro shorts (find similar item here), Bardot boots (find similar item here), Electric Avenue bow (find similar item here), Sportsgirls bag, Diva bracelets, Topshop dog chain necklace, Yellowgoat "Perfect Match" necklace (find item here), MAC St Germain lipstick (find item here )

Hi all, this is me practicing to be an awesome soccer mom one day. See how I got the standing stance all ready and everything, and I got my bold coloured stripe shirt on so my little kids can see me in the crowd. Haha jokes. I took a walk around the park in the beautiful sun (did you guys know that Sydney is is WINTER?), and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

As much as I love H&M, I also love Zara, Australia just recently got its first ZARA store recently, and it was a massive event, the opening night! I remember seeing people lining up for metres and metres. It was so crazy we even had security guards up at the front with a clicker letting in some people at a time. Just like a famous nightclub. Well who can blame the people, when ZARA produces awesome striped shirts such as mine?

When I have kids one day, they better appreciate ZARA as much as I do. Maybe I should keep all my clothes in great condition so I pass it on to them? How awesome would that be? I'd be the greatest (soccer) mom in the world! Do you love Zara too?
