Hi all! You've left some wonderful comments on my blog~ thank you all for the lovely compliments!

I went to a costume party last weekend, its was a 30th birthday bash themed "HEROES AND VILLAINS". I went as a "hero" as you can see, as Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love. It's such a perfect fit for me because I love romance and the power of love and all that mushy stuff.

Do you believe in the power of love?

Also had some fun playing with my friend's dogs. They are sooooo cute. Reminds me of my own dog Luna. Did you guys know, that I bought Luna as a black dog, with her black fur and black paws, then a few months later I cut her hair and she was suddenly white haired. I still don't know why....

Anyways, check out my friend's blog, she owns a food blog called Betty's Bites and she takes beautiful photos. She took mine today. Such a sweetheart <3

What I wore today: Forever 21 shirt, Zara skirt, Jacket (gift from Mom), Leather belt (from China), Wittner Shoes, Diva Bracelets, MAC morange lipstick

I'm 24 years old, and I had my first pap smear test done just last week. I put it off for so long, because I was scared, and I honestly didn't take it seriously. But after one of my friends had it done (she was 21 years old), she was told they had found pre-cancerous cells. She had to a type of very invasive surgery, wide awake. This shocked me and made me question my health seriously, so I went and had mine done 2 weeks later. Luckily I was found to have very normal cells and I am healthy. I was prepared for worse news - my friend's story really made me feel like I could've had it too.

I hope after reading this, if you haven't already, go have your Pap smear. Book it in. Most GP's do it, and don't be afraid. If you get a male doctor performing it and you feel uncomfortable, you can request a female doctor or at least for another female to be present in the room. 5 seconds of uncomfortableness is worth it.  You gotta take care of yourself gals.

After I found out I am healthy, for at least now, I went to spend some time with my family and afterwards my friends. We watched the movie: The Hangover 2. I recommend it, because its funny to see your boyfriends act all "macho" afterwards, and act like their next bachelor party will end the same way. Ha, Ha
