When I am at the edge of the world, I only dream in colour....

'Red Reunion Dress' from Beginning Boutique, Pony Mustard Belt from Beginning Boutique, Bag from Topshop, Sandals from Topshop, Brighton Rock Lipstick from Topshop, Friendship Bracelets from Beginning Boutique, Long Cuff from Miss Selfridge

Yesterday was so beautiful - a bright sun, a cloudless sky, and a warm breeze. These are some of the best things about Sydney, that the weather can bring you happiness even in Autumn. Me and Hughie drove up to Bronte Beach, parked the car and strolled along the coast to Bondi Beach for about an hour. It's a magnificent view, there are open gates that allow you to bravely leave the footpath and walk to the edge of cliffs. I always hang my feet over the edge.
I sat there for a long time watching dogs play in the water below and the cruise ships float away from Sydney, willing the people on those ships a great escape. What a beautiful day.

Bondi's Openair Cinema: The beach, a summer gig (Morgan Joanel), a summers night and ice cream..

Morgan Joanel from Mojomade singing at Bondi Beach's Openair Cinemas
(All photos taken by me with a Nikon D60, 50mms f1.4 lens)

What more can I say to add to this wonderful night? Morgan Joanel set the mood with an acoustic set of her songs that placed well with Bondi's beach backdrop and summer breeze.
I settled in with my closest friends on a deck chair drinking a hot latte, then some Ben & Jerry's ice cream. While the movie (The Ides of March with Ryan Gosling, score) rolled on I took a few moments to gaze at the stars and to reflect that there is no other place I'd rather be.

The OPSM Sunshine Tour is back for 2012; I celebrate with my Ray-bans at Bondi!

Ray-ban Aviators thanks to OPSM, 2chillies swimming costume, MAC 'Girl about town' lipstick, Le Tan Coconut Lotion and Spray

I totally am loving Summer. I spent the weekend in the city because I booked a hotel with my boyfriend for 2 nights to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. Because I live an hour drive from the city by car (during peak hour of course!) We decided to live a little and splurge on a hotel.
We did many things, we mainly ate, but we also spent the day at the beach, did lots of bar hopping and drinking, shopped, watched the Superbowl at the casino (I had to nurse my boyfriend's wounds because the Patriots lost..), sight-seeing and reading our books. Happy 2 years Hughie <3

Being back at Bondi Beach, I of course protected my skin with Le Tan's Coconut Lotion (hmmm smells nice) and I wore my favorite sunglasses I got from OPSM - some beautiful Ray-ban Aviators with interchangeable lenses. OPSM is continuing their Sunshine Tour, bought back by popular demand. They will tour Australia in their ice cream van to meet sunglasses lovers and to find the next face of OPSM! OPSM takes your photos and posts them on their facebook page, and we can vote for them!

I hope you can visit the OPSM page and start voting!
Much love~

Happy Australia Day!
I hope all Aussies around Australia celebrated it with pride, with a good ol' BBQ and a beer or two in hand. I spent the day with my friends at Bondi Beach. But before that I ate some delicious burgers at Moo Gourmet Burgers. I myself ordered a "Black and White Burger" - it included a beef patty, fried egg, mozzarella cheese and salad all on a sourdough bun. It was giant but so juicy and tender and I was full for a good 8 hours afterwards.
My friends ordered Wagyu beef burgers, Chicken burgers, onion rings, chips, banana smoothies and Oreo smoothies. What a feast!
I have photo spammed you, but I couldn't pick the best photos out of my batch so I pretty much used all my photos!
If you find yourself in Sydney, or Bondi Beach one day, you have to give this joint a try. Try not to eat for at least 12 hours beforehand, the servings are generous and huge!

Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi

Much love~
