Finally I have recovered from my crazy four day weekend (which ended with a 10 hour shift at work) and my highlight was definitely Stereosonic! The music festival featured Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Example and Avicci. I decided on a black on black outfit with cute cat ears instead of my usual white tee or singlet with pale blue denim shorts. I danced for at least 7 hours, charged on red bull and vodka. I ate bad food - hot chips, chewing gum and old hot dogs. I also almost passed out under the hot sun but as from my years of music festival experiences I just carried on, on, on and on.. letting the music carry me away.

I'm really digging the summer vibe these days. I'm tanning myself, in preparation for the summer festival season. In November I'll be attending Stereosonic (headlining Avicii, Tiesto and Calvin Harris), Harbourlife and Homebake. And in January 2013 I'll be heading out to Big Day Out (headlining Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Killers!!). It will be a packed three months and I can't wait to go shit crazy on the dance floor under the sun. I consider my time spent on the fields during music festivals are my most happiest. Best memory ever: watching French band Yelle perform at Parklife 2009. Of course I'll be working hard on capturing those moments for my blog readers, through photos and video. Work hard, Play hard.

The last week of Winter in Sydney is finally here and it has actually been kind to us over the past two months, blessing us with strong sunshine and little clouds.
I've already started planning mini beach roadtrips, picnics along the coast and brunches by the beach with the boy and my friends. And to keep preparing myself, I bought myself some Beach Boys music and rocking to the sounds of 'Don't worry baby', 'California Girls', 'Surfin USA' and 'Kokomo' whilst I drive. All I need now are some crispy cold Corona beers with a lemon in it. Time to celebrate the end of Winter in Sydney! And that includes busting out some classic Winter fur staples before I store it away (i.e my Vinetti vest).

Rocking the suburbs in Sheinside's sequinned gold shorts

Just a quick look of me in my hometown Cabramatta. Well I like to call it my hometown even though I technically live 15 mins away from it now. When I first arrived to Australia I lived here in a small flat and attended Cabramatta Primary school from Grade 2. I've made many friends and many memories here. My favourites include purchasing the Red Lea chips and adding to them unhealthy amounts of paprika; eating pork rolls for $2.50; attending Chinese school here and blushing when I discovered my first boy crush.
I will always have so many memories here, including this one - the day I decided to walk through the streets of Cabramatta in my flashy sequinned shorts thanks to Sheinside. Got lots of stares from the older conservative people here but oh well....it is a blogger's life after all.

xx Natalie
