My Halloween 2012: Photos taken by me with a Nikon D60 Sigma 30mm f1.4 lens
A few days ago, I held a Halloween Party/House Warming for my closest friends. No-one came in costume, we didn't play tricks or gave treats, we didn't hang up decorations. But there was beer, cooking, friends and the art of carving pumpkins.
My friend Betty and I prepared an amazing dessert trifle - using hand-whipped cream, vanilla custard, lamingtons, sponge cake, strawberries, chocolate dessert sauce and chocolate chips. We layered it nicely in a glass bowl and made it prettier by facing the strawberries outwards. The Tuna Pasta salad was also easy - prepared shell pasta, then mix it with red pesto, Greek yoghurt, tuna and corn kernels.
My favourite part was definitely carving the pumpkins. We found inspiration for the vomiting drunk pumpkin on Facebook and decided to carve our own. The second pumpkin is of Cartman from South Park. Give adults in their mid-20's some beer and a pumpkin.. and this is what you get.
