So, I've noticed that my new years resolutions tie in with everyone else's - eat healthier, exercise more, read more, sleep better, save money, get rid of a backlog etc.. so here's yet another list of 2020 goals for your musing:

Be Present: My dog Sokchea is around 11 years old and she recently got really sick... losing alot of weight in a matter of days. From 6kg to 4.4kg she is now exhausted, refusing food, losing her voice, can't jump up and down from the bed and can't walk in a straight line now.
We took her to the vet and found out her health has deteriorated quite significantly.. advanced kidney failure, cardiovascular issues, renal failure, dental issues, and possible cancer. And while we will be taking her to the specialist soon I know deep down that she won't fully recover and she'll have a reduced quality of life. The only comforting thought I have is that she is not in pain right now.
She is just uncomfortable and tired - spending her days sleeping around and not caring about her surroundings. It breaks my heart that I can feel her spine and rib cage every time I pat her.
Sokchea usually is so cheerful and has so much character with the friendliest attitude. She always put a smile on my face with her own goofy face - I love her so much.
I read that spending time with your dog is one of the best things you can do for a sick dog. Talk to her like everything is going to be ok and give her lots of reassuring hugs. Try and feed her even though she constantly rejects food.
My goal is to spend as much time as I can with Sokchea, try to be positive even though it's hurting..  just be present.

Read What I Have: Every year I try to read one book a month - so that makes about twelve books a year. But in 2019 I've been doing this thing where I make a list of books to read from my bookshelf - but then I continue to add to that pile every time I buy a new book. And I go book shopping often. Then I end up with an even bigger pile of unread books. I did a quick count of my books and based on my goal of twelve books a year, I was sitting on 5-6 years worth of books. This put my buying habits into perspective.
So now my goal is to not buy any new books for 2020 and stick to my reading list. The same applies to my makeup (except to replace base items like my foundation), clothes (only replace basics) and music (listen to what I newly acquire). In simpler terms - clear my backlog.

Workout at least three days a week: I've been unrealistic in insisting that 'working out' really counts if it's at the gym and its weight training. This year I must be more reasonable and be ok with counting home workouts and cardio/walks as exercise. It all adds up.
For the past few months, if I told myself I'll start working out on Monday but didn't end up doing it, I convinced myself it was ok to start again next week and laze around for the rest of the week. Not this year! Fuck me, my thighs are starting to jiggle.

Also I won't try and stretch myself too thin this year. Just be present and love what I already have. Take care of myself and just rest. Plan simple outings with my friends and families. Laze about and listen to my favorite albums.

And lastly - stay true to my love of fashion. I found this lovely soft pink wig online and took it with me to a Music Festival. I love refreshing my look and I don't think that part of me is going to change any time soon.

Orange is the colour of the day, and this maxi skirt has its say

Mink blouse
Rayban aviators
MAC morange lipstick
O.P.I hot & spicy nailpolish

Hi all! Thanks again for all the lovely comments on my previous post. All of you are asking me for where I get this jacket, unfortunately its thrifted, so it may be hard to find!

I will post today about a current trend I love - the maxi skirt. For years I was very stubborn about my skirt length, I was obsessed with knee length or just above the knee skirts. Well now no more, it's maxi skirts this year, baby. I think its the flow of the fabric when you walk with determination, and the way the hem sweeps across the floor when you sit down. There's something about this floor length that is so feminine.
And as you can see, while I stand in the wind, that I'm loving the floaty fabric. But I am also loving the orange colour, its so bold and unique. I pair it today with one of my favorite bright orange lipsticks and wear sandals to show off my orange toenails. Peek-a-boo! Enjoy!

I've created a new Facebook page, please "like" it now. It will mean so much to me.

Also everyone, follow me on Twitter, my account is @peach_tea_. I have over 700 followers, but I'll love more fashionable bloggers to follow me too. I always follow back!

Please take some time to connect with me, I love to connect with people and visit other blogs :) Please also follow me on Instagram and Lookbook as seen on the side columns!

Into Fashion Stripe Dress
Asos Jacket
Sportsgirl belt
Forever 21 clogs
Asos Bag
Rayban Aviators

Hi all! After reading alot of your blog comments in my last post, it seems I'm the only one doing Zumba :( Am I strange? lol. But I will still recommend everyone to do it, its great fun! (go with your best friends!)

So who is a child of the 90's? I was born in 1987, so  by the time I was able to watch TV, I was watching cartoons from 1991-1992 onwards. My favourite kids shows were programs like Sailor Moon, Alex Mack, Arthur, Sesame Street, Hey Arnold, Pokemon, CatDog, Ghost Writer, Blue's Clues, Captain Planet......

Actually my most favourite were Sailor Moon and Captian Planet! The way that there were 5 planeteers runnning around trying to save the planet,  and the fact that they had magical rings that shoots out powers that control the elements were so awesome. It was so easily accessable for kids, to use their imaginations and imagine that they were a character from the show. You just had to have nice rings to wear. Favourite characters were the girls, can't remember the names but they were in charge of wind and water.

What were your favourite shows to watch as a child?

I'm reminiscing about my childhood days because I recently heard that there is a live-action movie coming out on Captain Planet. LIVE-ACTION! It seems so amazing, I can't wait to see what the producers come up with. The people who created Transformers are going to be helping produce this movie. It should be Epic, but I hope Captain Planet isn't ruined for me and other children of the 90's. Hehe

I hope you guys all love my dress. As soon as I saw it on the mannequin I just had to have it. It's so bold and unique patterns, and this is definitely my sort of style. Unfortunately it was very windy in Sydney, I think Mother Nature loved my dress so much she wanted it for herself, haha.

Wearing this vintage head peice reminds me of what and whom I love

What I wore today:
Vintage cashmere red cape (find similar item here)
Pink Rogue lace dress (find similar item here)
Mollini shoes (find similar shoes here)
Mooreaseal vintage head piece  (find it here or here)

Hi everyone! I've been reading everyone's comments and they are so lovely! You guys seem to have liked my "cute eggplant" look. Thank you. And you have all given me some great ideas on what to do on rainy days!
Today I'm wearing my new head piece I bought from Esty, I was so excited to get it in the mail! I found it on the Gary Pepper Vintage blog and she wore it so beautifully I couldn't resist. Absolute impulse buy! I hope you guys like how I've worn it.

So, I know I write alot about shopping and fashion but I guess its what I know, live and breathe. If I don't write about what I love, you guys will be have been bored a long time ago, because I don't have passion for anything else. It's like this saying I recently stumbled upon..."I'd rather be a failure in something that I love than a success in something that I hate" (George Burns).

Its such a powerful quote it got me thinking. I love shopping and fashion, and so many other things, and through my blog I get to express it. Even if no-one reads my blog, at least I have enjoyed the journey thus far and it gives me pure happiness. I'd rather fail in doing this than being successful in something I hate (I cannot name it here because I don't want certain co-workers getting ideas, haha).
Tell me, everyone, if you have read the quote above, and if you have thought about your passions in life? What are they? I would love to know.

.....And speaking of shopping, I saw Atlantic-Pacific's blog and found this absolutely darling stripe dress (pictured below), and I want it! I found the exact one here!

What I wore today: Asos coat, Miss Cherry dress, belt (from China), Lovelygirl scarf, Dangerfield stockings, Jeffery Campbell Lita Boots, MAC Morange lipstick, Diva ring

The long weekend continues, yay! Here I am in NSW's Blue Mountains because me and my boyfriend decide to visit Sparadise. It's basically Japanese therapeutic spa treatments, featuring a hot bath, hot spa, saunas, and cold baths infused with lots of herbs and spices. Lol jokes. I just meant herbs.
I was a little skeptical at first, but after 15mins in a hot spa (38 degrees!) I was feeling so relaxed and thinking that I had no worries in the world. We spent 3 hours there, just dipping into the outdoor baths and into the saunas and sleeping every 15mins..and drinking tea and etc etc.

Just google "Japanese Spa baths NSW" and the website will come up. Even if you don't go to Sparadise, visit the Blue Mountains. Look at the beautiful landscapes and the colours! This is truly winter!

Beautiful Day

Sunday, May 15, 2011

What I wore today: Sportsgirl hat, Valleygirl strapless top, H&M leather skirt, Red belt (from Europe), Fossil Watch, Diva/Pandora Jewellery, Sportsgirl Wedges

On this day, I was holding my famous joint birthday party. I join it with my boyfriend because our birthdays are only one day apart! But... it's famous because, I make everyone have drinks and then I end up having way too much of a good time with my drinks and friends and music and dancing.. then more drinks..and shots.. and more chocolate cake.. and you know the rest...

Well, I decided to make use of the beautiful day and take a stroll in the local park. It was my moment of peace before the party started.. and the drinking marathon began... :)
