Continuing to embrace my love for cute outfits, I have picked this latest one from Femme Luxe straight from their website. As I get older, I'm gravitating towards more relaxed and casual styles so I picked out some slim fit cargo pants, a long sleep crop top and paired it with some killer earrings and a red lip.

Although I'm at home alot these days due to our lockdown and isolation, I occasionally go out to friends' birthdays following social distancing guides so I'm still shopping for cute clothes. To be honest I've added alot more loungewear and a pair of UGG boots to my shopping list because let's face it, I'm not going to the office as much.

I tend to go through phases and I will dress a certain style for weeks on end before moving onto the next. I'm also very versatile so I can go from cute, grungy, street, hiking to colourful to neutral very easily. My favourite colour is purple so I try to incorporate it into everything. Today it's in my Fitbit watch band.

The last few months, I've bought some new shoes I've had my eyes on for years. Completing a sort of wishlist. Now I'm a proud owner of black Vans Old School Sneakers, Black Low cut Converse Shoes, multiple Converse High Tops in various colours, Birkenstock sandals and a pair of Dr Martens. All flat shoes because I don't have the patience for heels now that I'm over thirty, haha.

However for me one staple I must have is a colourful lip and I can easily call it a signature of mine. Hai loves my lipsticks but I know he hates the lipstick stains I leave on my cups and straws. I hate them too, but that's the price you pay for fashion, lol. I haven't actually bought any new lipstick shades because I've been concentrating on my shoe collection. Maybe I should revisit my wishlist.

I've also booked myself in to get my eighth tattoo this week. It tend to be very casual about these decisions, as I know we only live once. I was tossing up between new ear piercings but I realised I rarely wear my hair up anyways. I'll show you guys my new tattoo soon! :)

Do you guys have a favourite lipstick? Does everyone have shoe wishlists? What sort of style are you into these days?

I hope everyone is staying safe x

Old School Glamour: Fur coat, Red lipstick, Pencil skirt and Red Shoes

Nastygal faux fur coat (similar here), Paper Scissors Crop top, Miss Selfridge long cuff, River Island Pencil Skirt (similar here), Nastygal red wedges, Mojomade Chain Glove, Chanel #64 Enthusiast lipstick

A Friday night: I went to a friend's birthday party, we had dinner at Hurricane's at Darling Harbour, a famous joint in Sydney for its ribs. Then we went to a Karaoke bar  to sing our favorite 90's songs (An Aerosmith's 'Don't want to miss a thing' and Backstreet Boys are always a must!) and to drink, to eat snacks and just have fun. We extended our hours till 2am so we got up to such mischief!

I was also websurfing the other night, as you do, and found some very pretty bracelets. The website is here, and has really sweet accessories.

Also.... please don't forget to join my jewellery giveaway! You can win the same Mojomade Chain glove as pictured in my outfit photos above! Just like my Facebook page and fill out the form here.
Much love~

On a boat, on a boat, in Sydney, on my way to Manly Beach!

Wednesday, January 11, 2012

Ray-ban Aviators thanks to OPSM, Asos heart-print dress (buy it here), Topshop wedges (buy it here), Chanel #64 lipstick (buy it here), Miss Selfridge cuff (buy it here), Asos spikes bracelet

Ahhhhhh, the beach. The beauty about being a part time dealer at the casino means I get to enjoy days like this on the weekdays. Of course I work night shifts and weekends, but I work less days because of my high pay rate. 6 months ago, when I worked in fashion design for 2 years, I worked 9am straight through to 6pm (or 7PM, 8PM, 9PM........ or midnight) and still only got a capped pay check. But now, I get paid on an hourly basis and work less days and thus have more free time.
I spent my free time (my 4th day off in a row now) taking the infamous ferry to Manly Beach from Circular Quay. Boy, its a beautiful trip. You are treated to a peaceful 20 minute ride facing the grande Sydney Harbour bridge, the cliffs, the Opera house and the ferry docks onto the beach itself. Me and a bestie cozied into the Manly shops, soaked up the sun at Manly beach and ate Ben & Jerry's. A very very peaceful afternoon.
Days like this don't come often enough so I am very grateful for it.

Of course, here is another reminder about my makeup giveaway. Like or share my facebook page and you get an entry! MAC, Chanel and Napoleon Perdis makeup on offer!

Much love~

New Dip dyed hair/ Balayage hair, for a new start and a new look

Dip Dyed hair/ Balayage Hair thanks to Illusions hairdressers
Tutorial on DIY dip-dyed hair (rainbow pinks and purples) here on Mojomade

Forever 21 Wedges (similar here)
Diva necklace

There is nothing better than getting your hair done, especially as a new 'pick me up'. I was blonde for around 9 months now, but I decided for a change, especially since I was sick of having high contrasting roots.
However I couldn't let go of my blonde days completely, I was inspired by Drew Barrymore's Dip Dyed Hair (must Google it!) and I was captivated by her hair, it graduated from dark to light so beautifully.

My new hair is called Balayage or Dip Dyed hair, its a chocolate brown at top, then it blends to a light chestnut brown to an almost platinum blonde at the tips. This is across all of my hair except for my fringe. Then the hairdressers finished it off with 'GHD' curls, using a wide curling iron to get my pretty curls.

Thank you to Marissa from Wetherill Park's Illusions Hairdressers for giving me a self-confidence boost and fantastic hair. If you want an amazing tutorial on DIY dip-dyed hair (like awesome rainbow colours pinks purples) visit Morgan's Mojomade blog here!
Do you guys like my hair? :)

My 100th post (yay!): It's a hot day, perfect for fish and chips and a striped dress!

Friday, October 28, 2011

Paper Scissors Stripe Dress (similar here or here)
Vintage Cardigan (similar here)
Target Sandals (similar here)

Helloooooo all! I'm so excited, this is my 100th post. I never thought I would've made it to this point, and also to have kept continuing with my blogging adventures.

I started this blog in April 2011 as a way to express my creative outlet, the kind I wasn't allowed to express whilst I was working 2 years in a fashion buying company. After my first post, I immediately was accepted into the kind blogging world and have made so many new friends and found such great inspiration.

Thank you all! You guys are the sweetest, most supportive and most encouraging people.

Today I'm wearing a striped dress (my favourite kind) with a vintage cardigan and wearing my favourite lipstick colour. I am also eating one of my favourite foods - hot chips in this case (my other favourite food is Japanese Curry) on a hot Spring day. Already feels like Summer in Australia though!

Have a great weekend everyone, its already started here in Sydney!

I think my cherry red lipstick steals the spotlight from my Litas

Thursday, June 23, 2011

What I wore today: Lovelygirl knit jumper & scarf (find similar item here), American Apparel skirt (find item here), Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots (find item here), Diva feather headband (find similar item here), Fossil Watch (find item here), Topshop bag (find similar item here), Christian Dior shade "999" lipstick (find similar item here)

Hi all! I had a massive fight with my laptop last night because it wouldn't allow me to upload my pictures from yesterday onto the website. Even though I threatened to Jackie Chan kick it, my uploader still wouldn't budge. So now I'm on another computer quickly blogging away. My laptop won -.-

This is my latest look, I wanted to showcase my favourite shoes at the moment - my Jeffrey Campbell Lita Boots, but after reviewing my photos, I think I'm more in love with my red lisptick! Look at my lips pop! I'm a big lipstick fan (27 shades and counting...) so I like to play up or complete my looks with them. I recommend everyone go out there and by a few shades of lipstick, (make sure you get a bright red!) and mix and match in front of the mirror. What are your favourites shades?

I've also been getting alot of questions lately about where I buy my clothes and accessories. I've added a few links above so you can find the items I wear. Unfortunately some are not available online so I have tried to show you some items that are similar. Consider me evil because I'm encouraging online shopping hehe. Stop reading if you want to save your credit card. Stop. Reading. NOW. :)
