These beautiful animals were taken at NSW's Batesman Bay with my Nikon D60 50mm f1.4 lens
As you readers know, I recently came back from my annual road-trip. Every year, my group of friends (13 of us for this year) pack our things and head to Nature. We drove 4 hours to Batesmans Bay that's located on the NSW South Coast and enjoyed peace, quiet, nature and fun.
I met many animals on the way, and you'd think because I live in Australia I'd find kangaroos and koalas. However, it is actually rare to find them in their natural habitat here so instead I found cute farm animals, horses, dogs and our little magpie friend.
If you're wondering about the 'winking' dog, he's not actually winking, he had lost an eye a long time ago. Thankfully the owner was kind enough to let me take a photo.
My favorite animal was my horse, in which me and my boyfriend named 'Buttercup'. She was so gentle she came up to us straight away and I fed her long grass and patted her.
If you ever get a chance to come to Sydney, I recommend a road-trip. My picks are Jervis Bay, Coffs Harbour or Smiths Lake. A Sydney trip is not complete without it.
