My very own Kitty Came Home Wallet

Event: Kitty Came Home Store at Finders Keepers Markets 2012

I've been looking for a new wallet for SUCH a long time, and when I found it here at Kitty Came Home's stall at the Finders Keepers Markets... I bought the red floral one straight away. Not only does Kitty makes wallets, she also makes Ipad sleeves, diaries, clutches and brooches. Her unique use of plastic covered vintage fabrics mean that they are all one of a kind and best of all, damage-proof (Well as damage proof as it can be to me, I always ruin everything I own).
I absolutely love my new wallet, it's so slim and pretty when you open it up. I'm considering buying an Ipad just as an excuse to buy  the cute Ipad sleeve...

Sustainable Stubbies: Recycled alcohol bottles turned into cups and vases!

OkayBoss: Wood Iphone Case and Plastic Cases!

Event: Finders Keepers Markets 2012

Last week I popped my Finders Keepers Markets cherry. After an array of facebooking, twittering and sms'ing about getting some friends to go with me to the markets, I ended up going alone. I felt kind of sad, lonely and rejected at first, but in the end I preferred it that way because the Markets embraced me with open arms.
I was fascinated by Sustainable Stubbies - whoever thought of recycling old beloved beer and alcohol bottles into cups and jars are geniuses. Of course everyone would love these. I know I did. I bought a Tooheys Extra Dry beer cup straight away for my boyfriend. He LOVES it.
Another lovely find were the OkayBoss iphone covers, all self designed and illustrated. It was hard to get past the customers at their stall but I could see why it was crowded - the covers were just too cute! I couldn't resist and I bought myself a "Moon Moon" character cover.
My first Finders Keepers Markets was a treat, I also enjoyed the cute decorations everywhere (mainly hanging lanterns and fairy lights), live music shows and hot coffee. It was a cold, rainy and dreary day but I was cheered up by all the cute finds. I will definitely visit next year, even if I do attend alone again.
