It's been a while since my last blog post, and my apologies. I feel as though lately I've been trying to escape my blog on purpose. When I thought about writing a new post I felt it was a chore like washing the dishes and I would go make myself a coffee just to stare at the screen.
So - I needed to find my blogging mojo again. A list of tasks to find it again: work ridiculous hours over the weekend.. tandem bike with my boy.. co-host a cocktail party for our friends.. cook.. start training with my friend for Tough Mudder (it's a crazy 20km+ obstacle course!).. daydream.. reminisce on perfect kisses.. re-connect with people.. and reconnect with the movie Into The Wild.
I realized I wanted to reconnect with people who have been lost over the past few weeks, but as a result I've put my dreams on hold. I now realise I've misguided my energy and shouldn't chase people down. I should do my own thing and work hard. The people will come to you and the true ones stay. So with that thought, I am feeling more motivated and creative now, my path to blogging is clear to me now. I shall do my work, and the company of the people I love will follow.
The first thing I picked up to wear after my blogging stall, is this beautiful Missguided studded jumper. I feel as though my style is evolving and becoming more 're-wearable'. I am trying to pick clothes now that I can picture myself still wearing year after year. Grey is a safe colour but I think this studded top will just become a classic, maturing with me as I get older.
