Happy Holidays! Christmas is around the corner once again, and I've composed my favourite things for the season. Remember, I live in Sunny Australia and we celebrate Christmas in the hot sizzling Summer, so don't get confused. I spend my days at the beach or park eating char-grilled corn and lamb chops!

#1 Funkita Underwear: This Melbourne based swimwear company has released a new range of underwear this silly season! The prints are bright and cute, with a comfortable design for your body.

#2 Frank Body Coffee Scrub: This is the perfect body scrub to get your skin smooth and silky for summer. The ex-foliating formula consists of lovely things such as coffee, almond oil, brown sugar and orange to target cellulite and removing dead skin cells

#3 Surf Ski N Dive: This store has some cute Summer Christmas gifts (pineapple candle!) in stock right now. Surf Ski N Dive stock the leading brands for the surf, snow, street and skating culture for years now so you're sure to find the perfect gift.

#4 Personal Planner Personalised Diary: Personal Planner this year has bought the perfect gift for the new year. You can order your very own personalised diary where the front photo, colour, design, layout and size can be customised in just minutes.

#5 Limecrime Velvetines: I'm always a sucker for lipsticks. Limecrime has come up with this magical formula for a lipstick that goes on wet and dries matte, leaving a velvet finish with bold and opaque colour. Currently comes in Suedeberry, Red velvet and Pink Velvet.

#6 Stonemen Underwear: The underwear this year comes in designs inspired by cities of the world and their skylines and landscapes. The underwear never disappoints and is as comfortable as ever.

#7 Sunseeker Swimwear: This swimwear is just amazing. This year they have released a range with is bold and colourful, with amazing cut out details that hug the skin comfortably. Perfect for the beach!

#8 Jelly Bean Sandals: Jelly Beans are back! These retro babies have been revamped and revitalised this year. These comfortable and summer sandals now come in neon and pastel colours, in glitter and in leopard prints and more!

#9 Stain X-ile Stain Removing Pens: Ever laugh a little hard with that drink in your hand or piece of marinated meat and accidentally drop it into your lap in the heat of the moment? I have. And a little water and tissue is sometimes not enough to remove annoying stains (especially on white). Well with Stain X-ile, a convenient pen tool, I can now remove stains easily and fast once its out of my handbag. So handy, especially since its safe to use on fabrics.

Well that rounds out my Wishlist for the year. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Happy Christmas!

Behind The Scenes Look: Riders by Lee (Australia and NZ) Summer Campaign 2013

Always youthful and free, Riders by Lee (Australia and NZ) never ceases to fail on their core concept. Producing a flirty and fresh denim line (complete with summer tops as well), Riders by Lee bring their range to life by heading out to a skate park for a photoshoot.
The campaign includes fresh-faced Home and Away star Lincoln Younes doing his thing on a skateboard and the atmosphere is laid-back and relaxed.
I can't wait for the finished campaign to come in, because I love denim (especially denim shorts with ripped hems) and I know I will stocking up on my own pair from this range soon. For now, here are some cute behind-the-scene photos and a fun video. Enjoy <3

Friendship photo

Wearing: Asos Denim Jacket; Steve Madden boots; Vintage felt hat (from Terrigal); Miss Cherry lace dress;
(Photos taken by me and Betty; on Nikon D60 and D90)

Just like some rom-com movie: I drove over to my girlfriend's place in tears, headed straight to the kitchen, slam my phone down and put my hands up in the air in exasperation and sigh "MEN!".
This annoying situation is not unfamiliar to me but after a comforting honey black tea, I whisper into my cup "I need to go away" and just like a good girlfriend is supposed to say, she says with a smile, "yes let's do it!".
So, one week later of more emotional ups and downs we pack our rooms up and drive the 1.5 hours up to sunny Terrigal. I've done it again, do what I do best: Runaway.

Instantly seeing the serene coasts, the bright sun and fresh winds really soothed our souls. As we sat on Terrigal beach watching a family fish and playing with stray dogs, I naturally switched my mind off (as well as my phone) and stopped thinking of what I had back home in Sydney. The next three days consisted of detoxifying foods (oats, fish, eggs, teas, salads and fruits), canoeing, beach walking, cooking, drinking Madame Flavour tea, waking up for the sunrise, vegging out in front of TV, playing cards, rock pools, reading, pelican feeding and sight seeing.
We bitched about men at times; but being in calm sunny Terrigal, I found I didn't want to taint the serene feeling with that frustrating topic. Instead we woke up at 6am to watch the sunrise and stare out into the waters, it was like I was meditating without knowing it.

I'm back in Sydney now, and I'm trying to keep the calm pace I had going back in Terrigal. Me and Betty bought Pandora charms for each other straight away, I got her a suitcase charm as she said when I picked her up: "I feel like I packed my whole room" and I giggled because I felt the same way. Then Betty got me a turtle charm because we arrived to Shelly beach we went to explore the rock pools. The rock was a forest green and scaly looking. I said "It feels like I'm going to mount a huge turtle and this turtle will start walking with us on it". She also giggled at that as she thought the same way.

My last post here explains some of the crappy feelings I was feeling when I left. Like a good friend, Betty tagged me in the Instagram post and she helped articulate it all.
So, thank you Betty thank yooooooooou! Running away for a man-free escape really really does help.
