Busting out the Chanel sunglasses & getting pumped up for the OPSM Sunshine Tour!

I graduated from dealer school! I am now a certified  Blackjack dealer. It's pretty cool. Even though I don't encourage heavy gambling (only $5 here or there is fine) I do find it fun to deal and to interact with patrons. The first time on the casino floor was freaky and I wanted to die on the inside and I especially wanted to faint after I handled my first $1000 chip, haha.

As well as dealing part-time I also am still blogging and interning with Morgan Joanel from Mojomade I am living a fulfilling life and it's becoming happier, especially since summer in Sydney is here and Christmas is around the corner!!

A perk of summer is that everyone wears fantastic sunglasses! I am so honored to be asked by OPSM to be a part of their OPSM Sunshine tour.
I will be joining their ice cream van on Thursday 15th December 2011 @ Wynyard Park Sydney and be giving styling tips to Sydney-siders on eye-wear. I love Ray-ban, Prada and Chanel sunglasses. But definitely my favorite are Ray-bans (even though today I gave my Chanel sunglasses a run). I always wear Ray-ban aviators! If you're around the area come say hi! :)

 Much love~

Rayban Aviators

Hi all! After reading alot of your blog comments in my last post, it seems I'm the only one doing Zumba :( Am I strange? lol. But I will still recommend everyone to do it, its great fun! (go with your best friends!)

So who is a child of the 90's? I was born in 1987, so  by the time I was able to watch TV, I was watching cartoons from 1991-1992 onwards. My favourite kids shows were programs like Sailor Moon, Alex Mack, Arthur, Sesame Street, Hey Arnold, Pokemon, CatDog, Ghost Writer, Blue's Clues, Captain Planet......

Actually my most favourite were Sailor Moon and Captian Planet! The way that there were 5 planeteers runnning around trying to save the planet,  and the fact that they had magical rings that shoots out powers that control the elements were so awesome. It was so easily accessable for kids, to use their imaginations and imagine that they were a character from the show. You just had to have nice rings to wear. Favourite characters were the girls, can't remember the names but they were in charge of wind and water.

What were your favourite shows to watch as a child?

I'm reminiscing about my childhood days because I recently heard that there is a live-action movie coming out on Captain Planet. LIVE-ACTION! It seems so amazing, I can't wait to see what the producers come up with. The people who created Transformers are going to be helping produce this movie. It should be Epic, but I hope Captain Planet isn't ruined for me and other children of the 90's. Hehe

I hope you guys all love my dress. As soon as I saw it on the mannequin I just had to have it. It's so bold and unique patterns, and this is definitely my sort of style. Unfortunately it was very windy in Sydney, I think Mother Nature loved my dress so much she wanted it for herself, haha.

I wear my hearts on my legs and mesh dress

Sunday, June 26, 2011

What I wore today: Luka mesh dress (find similar item here) , Into Fashion Blazer (find similar item here), Sportsgirl stockings (find item here), Mollini nude shoes (find similar item here), Diva Bangles, Fossil Watch (find item here), Asos socks

I'm quite a romantic at heart, even though I wear it rarely to express it. I get all fuzzy and warm watching romantic comedies - my favourite movie is Love Actually. My dreams as a kid, were to be able to dance like Michael Jackson (failed poorly, but I do express my inner MJ at my gym session of Zumba), and second, was to fall in love.

I did fall in love, multiple times - with bad boys, nerdy boys, gangsta boys, sweet boys, you name it. In the end I found my boyfriend Hughie and he's a sweetheart. I also fell in love with fashion and all the trends, even the one-off ones - puffy shoulders, bushy eyebrows, the epic failed microfibre flare pants.. but one fashion trend that has never failed me is a good old waistcut dress. I have a small waist so I love dresses cinched at the waist, its become a little bit like my signature dress. That's one love in my life I can always count on!

What style of dresses do you love?
