Little did I realise that heading into BIG DAY OUT (with headliners The Killers and Red Hot Chili Peppers on show) would be the hottest day recorded in Sydney. It peaked at a sizzling 46.7 degrees Celsius!!
I survived by drinking plenty of water; resting and running from misting shower to shower. Despite my efforts, I still sweated in places I never knew I could, even under the shade or after just running through water.
My boyfriend was very sweet trying to lead me around and cool me down but the heat made him so annoying to me and in the end the only relief I found was at around 8.30pm when I permanently fixed myself under a hose and the weather became cooler.
The Killers' Mr. Brightside and Band of Horses were my personal favourites but I almost cried when Under the Bridge was played by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I just turned my head to the stars and thought 'Hell yes, THIS is BIG DAY OUT!!'

Hmmm, summer is still around (as unpredictable as the weather is) and that means its music festival season. With Harbourlife, Homebake and Big Day Out coming up for me I'm on the lookout for some amazing shoes to dance and jump around in to my favourite artists. Heading over to StyleTread, I'm mind-blown by the selection of shoes, bags and sunnies. It was hard to pick out my favourites so I settled on a colourful range of Steve Madden, Nine West, House of Harlow and I Love Billy items.

Outfit Wishlist: Stereosonic Music Festival 2012

Stereosonic Sydney Outfit 2012 General Pants Glue Store Steve Madden

One of my most favourite things to do as a local Sydney gal is to attend Music Festivals. Stereosonic is coming up in November and it's head-liners are Avicii, Calvin Harris and Tiesto. I'm too excited. I almost cried when I found my new November roster had the 24th stamped "RDO" (rostered day off). I didn't have to be naughty and call in sick.

I love these festivals because of the sun, the dancing on the grass, the endless vodka Redbulls and cigarettes, the live acts and the youthful people. The best part though is the fashion. Girls are donned in day dresses, ripped denim shorts, boots, bikinis and ripped tees. The hair is sun kissed and wild, the makeup bronze and tanned.
I've picked out some of my favourite pieces from General Pants, Glue Store and Steve Madden for the upcoming Stereosonic festival. I really can't fricking wait to get fricking high... on the music!!!
